Questions regarding COS from H4 to F1

Hello All,

My wife is on H4 visa and she got admission from one of the university for master’s. She is planning to start her study in Fall 2020 and meamwhile apply for COS from H4 to F1. However I have couple of questions regarding this process:

  1. Recently I have changed the company and hence now my h1b has new company name but my wife visa has my previous company name(As I had planned to update her H4 during her stamping). Will this be an issue while applying for COS - H4 to F1?

  2. She entered in USA on B2 visa and later she changed to H4 visa(in home country). So is there anything I should be aware of while applying for her COS?
