Questions on H1 to H4 EAD change

I am on H1B, my project ended on June10th 2017. After that my employer did not run my pay stubs.
I am eligible for applying for H4 EAD and planning to change my status to H4 EAD now.
I have below questions, can you please help me?

  1. My husband’s employer can only do H1 to H4 conversion, but I want to apply both H4 and H4 EAD at the same time.If his emplyer applies for H4, can I apply for H4 EAD immediatly using H4 receipt number?
  2. Can I apply chnage of stauts to H4 and H4 EAD through attroney from my end?
    3.During this H1 to H4 conversion time, if I get a job on H1 can I join the job on H1 and what would be the next steps.Is there any possibility to withdraw our H4 petition if not can i work on H1 initially and continue working on H4 EAD when it approves with out any break? Is that possible?

Since you are working earlier and would like to change the status,

  1. I won’t recommend to do that as there are more chances of getting a query. I would prefer to get first H4 approval to file EAD.

  2. H4 EAD is very simple and easy process. you can do it on your own

  3. if you prefer to continue on H1, you should inform to stop processing or withdraw H4 petition.
