My wife is currently working on H1-B but is planning to convert to H4 in January. Is it true that when you when you convert H4 to H1-B visa (if you have a previously approved H1-B visa before going on H4) the new employer can file that petition year round and is not considered in the normal H1-B quota. Please do let me know if this information is true.
