Problems in filing H1b with only firstname in passport ?

Hi,

My H1B is being filed for yr 2014.

I have my passport with only the firstname mentioned in it.(Surname is blank)

I have travelled to other countries with the above credentials.

But will this cause a problem for H1B Visa Stamping or later in US?

It shouldn’t be an issue.

The visa will be stamped as . FNU = First Name Unknown. They will put the given name into last name and put FNU in the first name.
