Port of entry after living in India for an Year

My H1b visa validity is till sept 2025.

I went to USA and stayed for 2 months on H1b visa but didn’t got

register for my USA office, still on my Indian payroll. Made an exit to USA on Dec 31st and living here from One year. I have my SSN.

My question is If I am planning to enter USA now, will it be smooth entry for me, with out any questions asked?
Also want to consider new Trump administration changes going to take effective from Jan 2025 in USA, will it be tough?

Do you have a valid job offer in the US that is the basis of your entry on H1B visa?

Seems like last time you entered on H1B and stayed for 60 days however you had no pay stubs generated and this could flag your case for secondary inspection at the port of entry to vet you have a valid H1B job to perform.

It will depend of the government guidelines however if your case is authentic, no need to worry.
