Please confirm fees for h-1b transfer

Can someone please confirm that the fees for filing h-1b transfer is similar to the first filing of the h-1b? I need to tell to someone exactly how much it would cost to file for the transfer. I could not find exact amount on USCIS website. So far it appear that it is similar to original transfer, but I find it hard to belive. Can some one please respond? I’d appreciate any help. Are there ways to lower the fees for transfer besides lawyer and filing non-premium?

H-1 transfer is nothing but a new petition filed by a new employer which is exempted from cap. So the fees is similar to the original filing (they are paid by different employers). However, if one goes for extension through same employer then the fees drastically decreases (the same employer doesn’t pay the same amount twice).
