Petition approved with client A , can i work with client B

All,

I got my petition approved with my employer with client A , I went for visa stamping and got my visa . Now client is not ready to take me . Can i go to US and search for onother client and work under him. I heard USCIS doing site visits .If i am not present at client place ,will that be a problem

Your employer needs to file new LCA for the new client/location. Later, they need to file H-1 amendment for the new client/location. Only then can you work for the new client/location.
