petition approved,client project closed, how to do visa stamping?

hi, i work for employer X, got a h1b petition approved for client Y. visa stamping is not done yet.now the problem is client Y is closing the project with my employer X.

what are the options available for me to go for visa stamping now?

Q1 - can i go to visa stamping interview with old client invite letter ( obtained in April 2015) which mentions that i am required in usa from oct 2015. but the problem here is my project is getting closed with client Y before that date…

Q2 - shall i find a new project, obtain new client invite letter, LCA and H1B amendment?

Q3 - how long the process mentioned in Q2 will take?

Here are my thoughts…

Q1 - Its advisable to use the client invitation letter which should be issues in less than 3 - 1 month period. I would suggest not to use that old invitation letter.

Q2 - If you find a new project, since the client got changed you have to file an amendment assuming that client might provide you the invitation letter and be in the project.

Q3 - It depends on your lawyer how sooner they would file (as they might follow some criterion with in company). I would check with immigration team in your company.
