I have a H1b visa with current passport. Now i want to go for renew my passport.

  1. Can i directly go for passport renewal or is there any procedure for passports with H1b. If there is no procedure do i need to carry 2 passports when i am travelling?

  2. Is that mandatory to have a spouse name on passport if she want to travel with me.

  1. You can go directly yo Indian passport services. Yes you will have to carry 2 passports always to be on safe side.

  2. If your applying for passport with status as married, you will have to have spouse name on the passport.
