Passport Number is different in DS-160 and appointment confirmation

Hi

We got a new passport after renewal and I have entered new passport details in DS-160. While taking interview appointment, it took passport details from existing profile, which I am unable to update it. So, DS-160 has new passport and appointment confirmation has old passport. details. Will it creates any problem? Kindly suggest. Thanks.

yes , it will create problem. Your biometric can be refused.

ok, thank you. But I also heard that, in most of the cases they will consider only DS-160 information.
But anyhow, I am trying to update the details.
