There is one extra alphabet in my name in my passport. It does not alter my name majorly. My other documents from school, college, birth certificate etc have the correct spelling (ie, without the extra alphabet). It is a little late to apply for a new passport. So, while applying for my GRE, may I use the correct spelling? Or can the people at the exam center guide me regarding this issue? Please help.
If U r planning to alter the name in passport, then go for the name as in ur certificates…
Its always better to have a common name in all certificates and passport
Passport processing is pretty fast these days. You can get it altered in a couple of weeks or month. If I were you, I would get the passport name corrected to avoid issues in the long run.
