Passport Expiry before Visa appointment

Hi All,

My OFC appointment is scheduled for 2025 Jan but my passport expires in 2024 March. Was planning to wait to see if i can get an earlier date due to cancellations but that seems unlikely now.

Once I renew my passport will I have to fill a new form or can I use my existing form and appointment date after I renew my passport?

You just need to submit a new DS-160 after your passport renewal and take copy of old and new DS-160 to your interview. Appointment date is not impacted.
