My passport is going to expire on 2 Nov 2024 but my H1-B case is approved until 30 Sep 2026 and this is the first time I am appearing for Visa stamping under H1-B. I am worried if the expiry date of my passport will cause any problems at the time of VISA stamping because my passport is not valid through the VISA validity. Please advise if this will be an issue and should I start applying for new passport before start filling DS160 and appearing Visa stamping ?
