Passport does not have mother's last name - Visa Stamping

Hi Admin,
Currently I am in US and my Wife and Kid are in India.
I am planning to process H4 for my dependents. My kid is 4 years old and as I noticed that kid’s passport does not have mother’s Surname/LastName . My full name (first name and last name) is in her passport.
will It be any issue during visa interview process.
Could you please share the suggestion on the same.

It will NOT be of any issue for stamping. If you really want to get it fixed, you can do it before stamping…As long as the name of the mother matches to some documentation of the child, it should be fine.
