My Visa stamp has expired and I have my I-140 approved with my previous employer.
My current employer had filed my H1 transfer and extension which is expiring in Oct 2021.
My PERM with my new employer is in progress as and my passport is expiring in Sep 2021.
I am planning to travel to India and get my Visa stamped, will it be safe If I travel to India since I can
only apply for Passport renewal in March 2021.
Ideally, you should get your passport renewed and then go for stamping. Preferably after extension of H1B. They may question you asking for at least 6 months passport validity. It is your discretion, talk to your attorney.
