Parent B1/B2 visa. Should I wait for my H1 extension?

My I-797 expires in Jan 2025.
I’m applying for my parents B1/b2 visa with an arrival date of May 2025.
Should I wait for my H1 extension approval. I’m currently on I-140. Does it really matter?

I believe you can apply for B1 right now.

Doesn’t matter as far as you are maintaining your status in the US, can apply for parents visa any time.
