RFE on 01/08/2023. H1B case withdrawn by the institute on 03/28/2024.
Returned to my home country on March 27, 2024, to avoid being out of status.
Now I want to apply for F2 to get back to the US.
Question:
How should I file the “unemployment” section on DS-160? Should I mention the H1B withdrawn part in my DS-160 for F2?
What if the VISA officer asks me about my future work plan?
I want to stay with my spouse until she graduates in the next 2–3 years.
Should I say I am not going to look for jobs in the next 2 to 3 years?
What is the best way to answer these questions?
