One year H1B VISA validity when issues a new VISA

Hi Friends,
I am in bit of confusion, can anyone please help.
I applied for H1B this year through a big MNC. My petition got approved and the petition is valid from Oct2014 to Sep2015 even the client latter in the petition show project duration till Dec2017.

I got the visa stamped and the visa have below details :
Expiration date: sep2015
PED : sep2015

Now have below query’s :

  1. As far as I know H1B max stay duration is 6 year. Can my visa can be extended for another 5 years.

  2. Is it usual to get PED and Expiration date for only one year.

  3. How difficult will it be to transfer my petitioner.

Please tell me should I worry?
