On H1 transfer, should H4 be transferred??

Hi ,

   I was working for company A on my H1. I transferred my H1 to some other company     B few months back without giving any notice to company A.

But my spouse’s H4 is not yet transfered to company B.

my question : 1) is there any need to transfer my spouse’s H4 to company B??

  1. what if company A amends my H1, will my spouse’s H4 will be hampered.

Please guide.

H-4 petition is attached to H-1 holder. So as long as you are maintaining status, H-4 holder should be fine.
