Old passport with expired visa stamping lost

Hi I have new passport with current visa stamping ( Validity: 4th-May-2023 to 26-Oct-2025) on that. So i travelled on that to USA. I have that with me and i gave that details in DS-160 form.

I lost my old passport with old visa stamped (Validity: 12-Dec-2014 to 20-July-2017) which was expired and cancelled after getting new passport.

Could you please suggest if need any documents to show loss of old passport?

Do i need to report that old India passport lost on DS-160 form?

or its not required during interview because its already cancelled and visa on that passport already expired?

Do i need GD or FIR report from India police station regarding missing old passport before appear in interview?

Please suggest, I would appreciate any help with this.

Yes u have mention its lot or stolen column evnthough u lost after filing I have to fill a da 160 and have to state that . U also need those supporting documents to prove that is lost . The FIR copy is mandatory .

Usually, there is process to file FIR and carrying that info if you are applying for a new US Visa. Because it is old passport and expired US Visa, the process for old and invalid visas is not clear. There is no clear guidance on this. You can talk to an attorney, if you are worried about this.
