Oct 6 PA cancelled by consulate?

Hi All,

I got below mail today from my employer

Is this info correct? I had my OFC oct 5th and PA on Oct 6th

"As per Consulate communication received today to cancel all scheduled PA’s on the 6th of october 2014, we have cancelled and will be rescheduling the same. We will reschedule to the earliest available PA date. An automated mail will be sent to you with the details.

Associates who have already completed the Biometrics and attending the PA on the 6th will have to once again attend the same hence both the Appointments will be rescheduled for all."

Yes, this is correct. A number of Indian National Holidays have caused this. 6th October I think is Id-Ul-Zuha.
