No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number

Hi All,

I paid H1b visa fees at counter,when i enter receipt number in CGI portal,it is showing as
“No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number.”
Generally after paying visa fees amount how many hours it recognizes.
what i can do now.
can anyone suggest me on this please.

It can take up to 48 hours to activate the fee receipt.
