My spouse employer filed my H4EAD and the receipt date is March 4,2016 but I dint get any text or e-mail or mail though I sent the G-1145. Can I call the uscis directly and ask for the status. Any info/help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can raise a SR to know the status of your case. Usually the SLA is 30 days for any document that is supposed to be mailed from USCIS.
Hi what finally happened. My wife applied for her h4 ead extension. It was delivered on Jan 28 and we have not received anything back so far.
