My Son surname is incorrect in appointment booking profile. DS160 has details correctly. During the profile linking some issues happened and while we doing the payment we noticed all our names are correct. But after making the payment and returning back to appointment booking profile the payment confirmation showed my son’s surname incorrect. We were following up with customer support from Jan’24. But till now it’s not been resolved. Not getting proper support from the customer support team - created so many cases, sent my son’s passport as proof for them to change the name in the profile. But really no luck. We stuck in US. Can someone please guide me how to proceed further? With so many case creations, only one case we got reply as ‘ Thank you for contact us, you can proceed for the appointment and inform them during appointment time that profile has incorrect details’. Can we trust this and go to India for appointment? If they don’t allow my son for appointment then he will stick in India as visa is expired. Please guide.
