My visa Validity is till SEP 30 2016!!! but i have not travelled can apply extension from INDIA?

if I extend now how long it may take.
i don’t know whether my employer will extend or not.

Old or any new employer can file cap-exempt petition for you. This can happen anytime during 6 years of original approval date (although USCIS seems to be going easy on this requirement based upon recent experiences).
Processing time is available on USCIS site for your processing center.
