My question is whether I can get the new visa stamped in my passport while the old visa (valid until April 2025) is still active.

I am writing to seek clarification regarding the visa stamping process for my new I-767 approval. I currently have a valid H-1B visa stamped in my passport, which is valid until April 1, 2025. I have recently received approval for a new I-767, valid from April 2025 to March 2028.

My question is whether I can get the new visa stamped in my passport while the old visa (valid until April 2025) is still active.

Could you please confirm if it is permissible to have the new visa stamp while the previous visa is still valid, . I look forward to your response

Yes you can go for stamping while your visa is still valid. If approved , the consular officer will cancel your existing visa with annotation.
