my new H1B was filed on 16th apr 2012, but yet to get case no?

my new H1B was filed by my employer on 16th apr 2012, but yet to get case no? any reason why? all others have got it…any reason why mine is stuck and thr are no updates

I have a similar problem. Mine too was filed on April 16, 2012 by the employer and they have not received the acknowledgement number as of yet.

I want to ask you, have all your friends/colleagues got the number or can you confirm with your immigrations department to find info as to how many such cases are there.

I talked to m HR and they said that its not uncommon and they have not received anything from USCIS. :frowning:

USCIS sends out the CASE number for the application recieved with in the CAP count within 7 days and worse case 15 days NOT more than that. I request you all to check with employer,

Have you got your CaseNo. mine is still pending. Whenever i am checking with my employeer they are saying they are yet to hear update from USICS.
