My H1B petition is valid for 1yr only, expiring in Sep 2016, got stamped but cant travel, Can I use this petition with same employer later? I never travelled to US
Yes, this can be done. In future, a cap-exempt petition can be filed by this or any other employer. When approved, get new visa stamped in the passport and then travel to work for that employer.
