My H1B is not picked, what's my grace period?

Hi,

My initial H1B petition was filed on April 2019. My last day of employment was Aug 16th, 2019.

How long is my grace period and when does it start? Does it start on the last day of employment?

What is your current visa status ? What are you working on ?

I was working on OPT under F1 visa.

Your 60 days grace period starts from Aug 16th, I am assuming that OPT end date is the same as well. As you did not get in lottery, there is no cap gap provision for you…The grace period starts from the last date of your OPT end date.
