My H1B amendment was denied .Can i travel for another business purpose travel with my B1 visa ?

My H1B amendment was denied during Dec 2015.

1.Can I travel with my original petition which is for different location ?
2.Can i now travel for another business purpose with my existing B1 visa while my amendment is denied ?

  1. If amendment was denied, then you can only travel to work for the location mentioned in original approved petition

  2. If you have existing B-1, you can travel on the same even if amendment was denied.
