Mistake in Spouse name in DS 160

Hi,

I have made a mistake while filling my DS -160 for my H1B. My wife’s name is having three parts. Let us assume it to be X Y Z.

As per her passport given name is X Y and surname is Z. But in my DS-160 I have entered X as given name and Y Z as the surname. There is no spelling mistake. My interview is already scheduled.

Will you advice if this would create any issue while filing for H4

Shall I resubmit DS-160 ?

It should not matter. As long as there is no typo in the spelling you should be good.

Ideally it won’t create any issue. If you wish you can fill new DS160 and take a new appointment. Its not going to cost you any.
