My H1B petition was approved on Dec 24 2013. My Employer received my Petition on Jan 6 2014. We’ve noticed in that my name is wrongly spelt, i.e. word M is missing in my name ‘Swamy’.
So my employer filed a amendment on Jan 22. Then my petition status changed to Initial Review.
On Jan 28th the status changed back to Acceptance.
Is this process as expected? Any one faced similar issues.
How may days it might take to get the correct petition.
