Minnesota or Colorado ... Need help to select Universities

Hi there,

I wish to apply for Masters in Computer Science for Fall 2014 semester. I’ve shortlisted following Universities -

  1. University of Colorado Denver
  2. University of Colorado Boulder
  3. University of Colorado Fort Collins
  4. University of Minnesota Duluth

Right now I’m on H4 Visa and I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My husband has option to move to Denver, Colorado. But the decision of whether to move to Denver or not would mainly rely on the selection of University. Which of the above mentioned Universities should I apply or should not bother to apply? Which of them are good in terms of funding and placement opportunities? If I get admission from all of them, how would you rank them?

Your suggestions would be really helpful.

Thank you.

(3), (1), (2) and (4) in that order. You can always write to CS faculty at each of these schools to get more answers. Colorado is also a great place to raise a family. If your husband moves his job to Colorado, UC Denver would be best for you as Boulder (35 miles) and Fort Collins (72 miles) are a little far from downtown Denver.
