As a journalist who has worked with leading newspapers in India, can a MBA take me to a whole new level and open up new opportunities with better salary packages? I have performed decently through my B Com and Masters in Mass Communication as well also winning a UGC JRF scholarship which I finally chose not to pursue as I got a job with a prominent newspaper.
I think you should directly try for employment with a US Newspaper. Start this journey in India to see which of the US newspapers do not have access to quality international reporters on the ground. Create your own path. If an MBA is also of interest, you are welcome to write to me.
