My company is filing my Green card on EB1. while I was filling my I485 form for my dependent, I realized that my kid’s old I797 are missing. Though I have all the latest I797 of my kid. My documents are uptodate. Will it be a problem in I485 Approval?
I think it is ok however I would suggest filing FOIA request with USCIS now to request the copy of approval notices that are missing. That way ypu can provide to USCIS if they raise RFE with your kids application.
If you used immigration lawyer to file for H4 extensions in past, your attorney may have digital copies from their system.
Thanks Kalpesh. My attorney used to file thei L2 extensions for them. So I am sure, they would be holding the digital copies.
