lost I797B for an approved H1B

Hi,

Urgent help/advise needed,

I have got mny H1B petition approved andy availed the hard copy of I797 as well.

I have lost the I797 hard copy by accident and not sure how to proceed. I heard that my company can request USCIS for requesting another copy through I824. Please can you let me know how long will that process to take to get the copy of I797 again.

Yes, the employer needs to get a duplicate copy from USCIS. I-824 needs to be filed.
