Lead time for Fresh H1B Petition

Hi,

My H1B was filed on Apr 9th. Its a fresh application. Could you please let me know the date when i would get the receipt for the same.

My employer says there is no lead time.

As per a press release by USCIS in May, there is a delay in sending out the receipt notice to petitioners. 60 days delay is what we should expect.
