Late H1-b extension

Hi,

My H1 visa is expiring in a month and so is my i94. Initially I did not wanted to continue further, but i have changed my mind now. I have contacted my company to initiate the renewal process.

It would be helpful if anyone can share any information or experiences related to late application.

As far as I know your application should reach USCIS before the expiry of your current visa/I-94. So legally, you should be fine.
