I have an i140 approved with the current company has laid me off and last date is april 3rd - just couple of weeks . My h1 extensuon is in progress in regulsr processing and i94 expired on january 15 . The employer said they will send a withdrawal petition once laid off. What are my options to stay here to find a new job ? My spouse is on f1 visa.
Do i get any grace period to find jobs or is it only if i94 is not expired?
I am.so confused with the rules of grace period and 180 days etc . What are my.options to find a new job here ?
