I am on L-2S with a valid I-797 until September 2026. My wife’s office is saying that there might be a change in the policy of L-2S work authorization with the new government coming, and an I-94 will no longer be valid authorization. L-2S holders will need to apply for or renew an EAD card. I have an EAD card that expired in September 2022. Should I renew it?
You don’t until USCIS chances the rule based on government directive, till then status quo
