L2 or H4 which one is best for my 7 yrs old kid

Hi,

I have H1B visa and my spouse has L1A visa. Currently both are living in India. Soon will be traveled to US for work assignment. Should I apply L2 or H4 for my 7 yrs old son? Please advise which one is more helpful in future.

There is not much of difference but I would prefer L-2. L-1A holder is tied to an employer, so there is no need for future H-4 filings on changing employers. In addition, L-1/2 get 3 years to stay in US while H-1/4 get time only as per their approved 797.
