I am in a tricky situation. I worked for companyA in India for 2 years. I quit companyA and moved to US in 2013. After a gap of 3 months, I started working for companyB on L2 EAD in US. After working with CompanyB for 2.3 years, companyB got acquired by companyA in February2016. My husband’s L1B maxed out this year and we moved back to India in April2017. I am still with the same company in India on Indian payroll. Technically I have been with this company for 3.7 years now including the time before and after acquisition. Am I eligible to apply for L1B since I have worked for this company for more than a year in India before coming to US?
