L1B blanket rejected and want to apply for H4 now

Hi,

My husband is working in US since February 2015. My L1B blanket got rejected in January 2015. I want to apply for H4 now. Will my L1B rejection have an impact on my h4 processing?

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Will my L1B rejection have an impact on my h4 processing?

Answer: NO.

L1 B(especially blanket) is the EMPLOYER’s visa. Its rejection has nothing to do with your spouse AT ALL.

H4 is a courtesy visa for H1B holder dependents. For H4, all you need is that your husband’s valid H1 status and there should be no criminal or immigration violation history on you. Thats all. nothing else matters.

You are good to go for H4 status using your husband’s H1 status.

Thanks for your response. It helps.

I have got my H4 approved
