L1 Visa applied for petition Amendment, would the L2 Visa require to be re-stamped?

Hello,

My Husband was initially petitioned for a particular location , and subsequently had to work in another state. He was advised to submit a petition for Amendment( to work in another state).

My question: I already have my L2 stamped( got it along with husband’s L1) and would be joining him soon in the U.S. Would I have to get my L2 Visa re-stamped because of this Amendment.?

Please advice!!

Thanks,

Sneha

No new L-2 visa stamping required due to L-1 amendment filing. You can still travel on current L-2 provided it has not expired. Carry all relevant L-1 documents including amendment filing when entering US.
