I have been on a L1 visa since the last 4 years and the visa was valid till Oct 2013(5 years). My L1 to H1 COS was approved recently, but the petition is approved only till Oct 2013. Shouldn’t it have been till Oct 2014 (6 years). Is there something that we can do now, or should we just file for an extension next year. What should be our next steps ? Thanks.
