I need advice on my case.
MY L1 is expiring next month and company filed my L1 to H1 transfer on which I got RFE on 10th Sep.
Our ISG is working on RFE response but it seems they are taking time and I will not get H1 approval before L1b expiry.
What I have to do if my L1 is expired and H1b RFE is in process?
Can I leave US and come back on H1b approval with stamping in India?

Yes . That would be the right thing to do.
Do not stay illegally in US . That would affect yr future visa.
Follow the rules strictly.
Do not take short cuts.
