I am currently on L1B visa with company A and applied for H1B visa Change of Status through Company B which is still in processing after Oct 1st.
Say if my petition is approved on Oct 15th, Will I be able to give notice and serve 2 weeks for my Previous employer A on L1B or I need to stop working for Employer A as soon as the approval is received and can only be on payroll of H1B Employer?
If your H1B petition is filed with change of status, you will need to stop working on L1 status ad soon as your H1B is approved.
Consult with the immigration lawyer of your H1B employer.
