My situation is this
Came to US on an L1-B Blanket visa for company A
Part of Company A was acquired by Company B, and i moved to Company B. The other part of Company A which was not acquired changed its name to Company X
Company B decides to layoff employees, can i move back to the part of Company A which was not Acquired i.e. Company X ?
Its to note that my L1-B still shows the old Company A in the Visa, havent been to India after acquistion. Visa is valid till mid-2015. Also the its a Blanket visa, will Company X still hold it or was it transferred to Company B as part of its aquisition of Company A ?
What are my options ?
