Kids Drop Box query

Hi ,

Both the parents have the valid Visa . I am looking for the kids visa stamping and they are eligible for drop Box facility .

Do we need appointment for the drop box as well ? or we can directly walk in the USA consulate ?

Please refer the below link. Though it refers H1B, the process is same for H4. You do need to book an appointment for drop box.
