I filled my Ds-160 and went and updated my profile on CGI website to pay fees. The part where we are supposed to enter MRV website is already populated with a receipt number, without paying fees and the Axis back slip created to pay visa fees is showing amount Zero. Does anyone know why this is so?
Could this be an amount carried over from 2020 when we had an appointment but it was cancelled by US Embassy due to COVID lockdown in March 2020?
Or is this a previous appointment receipt number?
Also I am able to go to the part of the website where we can schedule appointment, and it says no appointments available at any of the consulate sites. AM I the only one seeing this or no one is getting dates even in future?
